1. Centre for Maritime Studies, University of Turku

Centre for Maritime Studies is a research institute in the area of maritime traffic in Finland.  The institute offer versatile research and consulting services concerning maritime logistics for different companies and public sector. Centre for Maritime Studies of University of Turku is located at city of Kotka. In year 2008 there were one professor and five researchers in the Centre for Maritime Studies.  

2. Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences

Kymi Technology of Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences is mainly focused at projects that are about logistics, harbour operations and information technology. Kymi technology includes approximately 15 researchers and 30 teachers.

3. Lappeenranta University of Technology, Kouvola Unit

Logistics research group of Lappeenranta University of Technology, Kouvola Unit concentrates on logistics research, mainly at rail logistics. Group was established in year 2005 and there is one professor and five researchers in year 2010. Internationality is the focus of the group.
